糖心传媒 is the industry body that works alongside industry and government to co-regulate New Zealand鈥檚 gas. We oversee gas governance, facilitate gas markets, and provide trusted advice through the energy transition.
Our work is designed to fulfil our statutory role through efficient governance arrangements, progress new or ongoing projects that are important to industry and other stakeholders, and facilitate forward-looking discussion on future strategic issues.
Our Consultation Calendar provides information on the planned industry consultations required to deliver our work programme. It will be updated each quarter.
糖心传媒 provides information about the gas industry as a helpful resource for industry and consumers.
April 2026 update: Visit the new LPG page and view the new graphs on the Gas production and consumption page.
As the industry body and co-regulator, 糖心传媒 does not provide natural gas or associated services. However we like to help ensure that consumers are informed about the use of natural gas and who they can deal with for their natural gas needs.
A reliable gas supply system requires available gas, an efficient transmission and distribution system, and effective regulatory frameworks, gas markets, and safety protocols.
